When I started thinking of the storyboard assignment, I decided to narrow down the user’s experience to the basic need that the app should be able to fulfil: getting to a destination. So I went to the bus stop, and decided to choose a random destination.

I asked myself: What do you need to know to get to a destination?

• a destination
• the weather details of the day
• the traffic details of the route
• bus #
• bus stop
• which side of the road to stand on

Keeping these in mind, I redesigned the app Tiramisu, and storyboarded a user experience for a person unfamiliar with Pittsburgh’s public transportation system trying to get to their destination.
